About Gary's Dumpsters

We’re a family business out of Wyoming, PA. Gary runs it, his stepson Matt works alongside him, and when your dumpster shows up, one of them is driving the truck. There’s no call center and no dispatcher three states away — you’re dealing with the people who own the company.

That’s most of what makes this work. We know which streets are tight, which driveways slope wrong, and which neighborhoods care where a container sits. We’ve been doing it in the Wyoming Valley long enough to have opinions about all of it.

What you get when you rent from us

Straight pricing, posted online. Our rates are on the pricing page — delivery, pickup and disposal included, no deposit, no hidden fees. You’ll know the number before you call anyone.

Delivery when we say. Book online before 1pm and we can usually get your dumpster to you the same afternoon. Anything that lands after 12pm doesn’t count against your rental days — that day’s on us.

Careful placement. We put boards down and we take the driveway seriously. It’s the thing customers mention most in reviews, and it’s the reason a lot of them call us back.

Updates without chasing us. You get a text or an email when we’re on the way and when we’ve picked up. You shouldn’t have to wonder where your dumpster is.

5.0 stars across nearly 200 Google reviews. We’d rather you read those than take our word for it.

Where we work

We’re based in Wyoming, PA and we cover most of Northeastern Pennsylvania — Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, Pittston, West Pittston, Exeter, Plains, Forty Fort, Swoyersville, Dallas, Mountain Top, Plymouth, Nanticoke, Duryea, Old Forge, Taylor, Moosic, Tunkhannock and Scranton, plus the towns in between. The full list is on our service area page.

Anything inside 15 miles of Pittston has no fuel surcharge. From 15 to 25 miles it’s a flat $75, and past that it depends on the address. If you’re not sure which side of the line you’re on, put your address into the booking form and it’ll tell you before you pay anything.

How the sizes work

We rent 10, 15 and 20 yard dumpsters on 3, 7 or 10 day rentals. The size you pick sets your included weight — a half ton, a full ton, or a ton and a half. Go over and it’s $125 per additional ton, pro-rated, so you only pay for what you actually go over.

Not sure which one you need? Most single-room cleanouts and small remodels fit a 10. Kitchen or flooring tear-outs usually want a 15. Whole-house cleanouts and roofing tear-offs go in a 20. If you’re stuck between two, call and we’ll tell you honestly — we’d rather get it right than upsell you into a size you don’t need.

Ready when you are

Booking online takes about two minutes, saves you $10 off the phone price, and goes straight into the schedule instead of waiting for a callback.
