Dumpster Rental FAQ
Everything below is how we actually run it. If your question isn't here, book online — the form confirms your price and delivery date before you pay anything.
Flat pricing, no surprises. Booking online: $345 for a 10 yard 3-day, $395 for a 15 yard 3-day, $445 for a 20 yard 3-day. Longer rentals and larger sizes are on our pricing page. Every price includes delivery, pickup and disposal.
Book online before 1pm and we usually deliver the same afternoon. The booking form won't let you pick a date we can't make — so if it accepts the date you selected, that's the day you're getting it.
We cover about 25 miles out from Pittston — most of Luzerne and Lackawanna counties. Free delivery inside 15 miles, a flat $75 fuel surcharge from 15 to 25 miles. Past that it depends on the address. Enter yours when you book and you'll know in seconds.
Pick by weight, not by volume. The 10 yard includes half a ton — good for a bathroom demo or a heavy garage cleanout. The 15 yard includes a full ton, right for a kitchen remodel or an attic. The 20 yard includes a ton and a half, which is what most roofing jobs and whole-house cleanouts need. When in doubt, size up — it's cheaper than an overage. Roofing runs heavy: shingles are roughly 200 to 400 pounds per square, so a 20 yard covers about 8 to 15 squares before you're over the included weight.
Three lengths: 3, 7, or 10 days. That's it — no per-day charges and no custom durations to figure out.
The bin is 7 feet wide and 14 feet long. It rolls off a trailer behind a pickup, so plan on about 20 feet of clear length plus room for the truck and trailer to back in. Move any cars before your delivery window, and make sure there are no low branches or wires over the spot.
No. Just leave the space clear and the cars moved. We drop it, you fill it, we come get it.
We put wood down under the bin on request, no charge. Just ask when you book.
Not for your own driveway. If the dumpster has to sit on the street, some towns require a permit — that's between you and your municipality, so check with them first.
Overages are $125 per ton, pro-rated, so you only pay for what's over. Here's exactly how it's measured: we weigh the loaded trailer at the disposal facility, empty it, and weigh again. The difference is your weight. If you're over, we email you an invoice and charge the card on file the following day. You'll see the number before the charge hits. Maximum load is 5 tons on any dumpster — that's a legal hauling limit, not a fee.
Yes. Text us on the same thread you get your delivery updates on. Every rental length is $50 apart, so upgrading from a 3-day to a 7-day, or a 7-day to a 10-day, is $50 either way.
No hazardous waste, liquids, batteries, paint, asbestos, stumps, trees, branches or yard waste. We also can't take loads of concrete, dirt, brick, block or topsoil — though small miscellaneous pieces of concrete or block mixed in with regular debris are fine. Regular household junk, furniture, renovation debris and roofing are all good. Mattresses are $35 each and tires are $20 each.
Card at booking. We don't take cash or checks. Booking online saves you $10 automatically — no code needed.
No problem, and no charge — just give us at least 24 hours notice. Text us on your delivery thread or call.
Because it's just the two of us and we're usually driving. Booking online gets you a confirmed price and a confirmed date in about two minutes, without waiting on a callback from someone who's got a dumpster on the trailer. You still get us — we just answer the phone better when we're not on the road.
